I had Valentine's Day on my mind this morning as I just ordered this special something for Dan (no peeking, D!). And I keep finding myself drawn back to these napkin hearts, part of Diva's new textile collection for Linea Carta (huge fan). The reality is I have more tea towels and napkins than I have space for (and to be honest, don't host that many dinner parties.) What I'd really love to own is this delicate heart design on linen pillowcases or a set of sheets. So pretty. The entire line is worth a look.

It's been one memorable week of taking ideas that have been dancing around in my head and putting them out for the world to see. And the response has been incredible. I'm feeling really grateful and might even get a little weepy if I think on it for too long. It gives me goosebumps thinking about the kind words I've received from designers and creatives whose work I've followed and adored. That's a cool feeling. And friends, family, and all of you. Thank you, it means a lot to me. 

I spotted this floral fabric on Urban Outfitters and have been thinking about it for days. I'd love to find a wallpaper with a garden floral pattern like this — would be perfect for reviving a vintage suitcase for the shop. We're off to Woodstock for the weekend. One tip I heard this weekend at the Gift Show: one of my favorites, Plover Organic, is now selling their organic, block-printed fabric by the yard. It's always fun to find another designer collection selling their fabric by the yard for use in your own projects — like sewing a pillow. I'd love to turn a few yards of this fabric into curtain panels. Here's hoping their fabric-by-the-yard program continues to expand. (Plover Organic, please start carrying vine fabric by the yard!)

I've been dreaming about patterned fabrics as we're going to reupholster our sofa after our movers lost our sofa cushions (don't ask me how that's possible as I don't know either!). So I peeked into the shops of three of my favorite textile designers to find some pattern inspiration.

I can think of a dozen uses for this fabric bucket by Lotta, and I love it shown here as a plant pot. After spotting those Woolly Pockets, I'm totally hooked on the idea of fabric containers for plants. I'm really tempted to buy one of Lotta's remnant bags of linen fabrics for my second sewing project. (First I have to decide what I want to try sewing next.)

I've had my eye on a few of Lena's pillows that have been sold out. But this red + blue Field pillow is available and I'm really drawn to the pattern. I wish Lena sold a stencil of this pretty pattern, as I could see it as an amazing pattern to stencil above a bed in place of a headboard.

I'm a big fan of Virginia Johnson, too. Most of her shop is fashion-geared.  (I'd like to scoop up an entire Virginia Johnson wardrobe!) Ok it's official, I definitely have summer on the brain today. This echino oilcloth available (online only) through my favorite fabric mecca, Purl Soho, caught my eye. I just adore oilcloth fabric — and oilcloth makes sense to use on a patio or terrace as you can easily wipe down the fabric. I'd love to make seat or stool cushions with one of these whimsical oilcloth patterns.
