A few months back, I got to work as the project manager and stylist on a really fun project for HGTVRemodels. I teamed up with friend, photographer Charlotte Jenks Lewis, to shoot an amazing remodel of a Brooklyn apartment rental. Charlotte's friend Tom bought a building in Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood and gutted and renovated each of the apartments — without the help of an architect or designer. Tom now lives in the third floor apartment of his building. I was super impressed with the design solutions he came up with for this small rental unit. Tom really maximized the space and gave it a simply, modern open feel. The rustic industrial design style of his current tenant also works well in the space. Go have a peek, if you like, of the entire remodel (including before photos!) over on HGTV.
