When I visited Terrain a few weeks ago, I spotted a few cards by Saturn Press in their stationery section and had to grab a few for myself. Saturn Press is one of my favorite card companies — and they happen to be from Maine, which makes me love them even more. Their stationery pairs beautiful vintage illustrations with antique letterpress. And I kind of love that they haven't stepped into the 21st century yet — the company doesn't have a website or an easy e-commerce way to buy their cards. They're a paper company that functions in the old school methods of communication (phone and paper catalogs.) So when I find Saturn Press cards in a shop, I always feel compelled to pick one up.
