After meeting the super sweet Maggie of Campbell Raw Press during the Stationery Show, I fell completely in love with her work. And I'm a bit envious of her skills — there's a certain magic and mystery to bookbinding. I remember once having a conversation with an art director who'd taken a bookbinding class — she told me it's anything but easy. Maggie's handbound vintage map journals are my favorite. Amazing, right? I also love how they measure 5"x7", perfect for stashing in your bag on an adventure. And Maggie can create a custom map journal with a cover of just about anywhere in the world you like. This would be such a perfect gift for a destination wedding — a thank you for friends or bridesmaids that pitched in to make your day come together. I'm thinking I may need one with a map of Maine. Fingers crossed, Dan and I hope to find a used car this weekend. While you don't need a car everyday here in the city, you do need one for roadtrips. (I'm hoping this summer is full of mini roadtrips, and we're really excited to have wheels of our own!) Be sure to check out Campbell Raw Press and their Etsy shop. Such lovely work!
