I don't think I'm alone in feeling like my love for Rifle Design and anything Anna Bond touches is getting ridiculously close to groupie status. The Rifle Design booth at the Stationery Show met every expectation. Just amazing. It sparked one thought: when does Anna sleep?!
One of my favorite products from the show was their recipe box. There's such a feel-good story behind the boxes, too. Anna told me the wood that they use comes from local trees headed for a landfill (can you believe trees are thrown in landfills — what?!). Anna and Nathan found a local woodworker who builds the boxes from this salvaged wood. The recipe design, in Anna's lettering style, is then silkscreened on the box. Each box is one-of-a-kind. That's a recipe box that's sure to get handed down from mom to daughter.
Rifle also launched several new prints (including this adorable cowboy print), a 2011 Calendar, and a collection of wedding invitations. I wanted the whole loot. And may I put in a special request for Rifle Design wallpaper! (How cool would Anna's hand-painted illustrations be on a wall!)
Kudos to Anna — what a spectacular debut at NSS. You can shop Rifle Design's current collection here.
