Wow, what a week! Today, I'm pausing on the fact that this is the first Friday ever that I can say I have a shop!! What a cool feeling. A big thank you to everyone for the incredible support! It also hit me yesterday that next Friday is my birthday, which I almost forgot about in the haze of launching Cabin 7. (Thankfully, Anthropologie sent me a little reminder in the mail in the form of a cute discount card with a birthday candle necklace! That will be put to use this weekend.) It's another super busy week ahead, starting this weekend with the Stationery Show (my all-time favorite trade show). Chris and I have some big things we're working on for Cabin 7. For now, we added some new gilded words to the shop (including MERCI, my favorite.)
Some links for your Friday:
+ Agreed. Can't get enough of gingham.
+ Jane bought one of our gilded cardholders! I hope she shares a photo of it in action sometime.
+ Vintage L.L. Bean duffel. What a find!
+ Excited to check out these paper garland kits at the Stationery Show.
+ I'm going to meet Nole this weekend, along with a whole crew of talented paper-loving peeps. I can't wait!
For the Friday song, I'm sharing a local favorite: the Strung Out String Band. My friend Dave (who played acoustic guitar for our wedding ceremony) and his band will be playing at the Brooklyn Flea tomorrow! I will be there — shopping and enjoying the good music.
Take a listen to their song Drunkard Hiccups. And check out their CD for more good tunes.
