Thanks for the sweet response on our Color Me Happy housewarming party! These carnations in our bathroom are going strong a week after the party. I'm not typically a carnation fan, but I love how these blooms are so long-lasting. The pink really pops, too. (thanks, Susan!)
And here are the results of my final tie dye class. I did a dye bath for a stained white dress and an old cotton gauzy top, which had some issues in the armpit area. I love how they turned out, and it feels like I have two brand new pieces. Check out Lena's blog for photos of the dress and top in their yellow and blue dye baths. On Monday, we played with the circle and spiral techniques. I also tie dyed a pair of gray leggings. It's more subtle, since the leggings are dark, but I love the scrunches and spirals of turquoise, pink, and yellow. I'm excited to sport them at my next yoga class.
