As much as summer seemed to whiz right over my head, I'm happy to have fall now. And it's arrived with some gusto this week. (I finally picked up a fall coat.) There's talk of snow or some intense rain tomorrow. I'm feeling like it's going to be the kind of weekend where you want to hole up inside with some soup and flickering lanterns (or a fireplace if you're so lucky.) I'm loving these Roost lanterns from farmhouse wares and Velocity Art & Design. I think when lanterns are this large, they're called hurricanes. I love that name for a luminary.
Anna of Rifle Design keeps creating the most amazing DIY projects for Once Wed. This paper pennant garland idea is from a while back, but I was thinking it's the perfect inspiration for a Halloween banner outside. Don't you think? Even the colors here seem fitting. Oh I wish we had a front yard.
Also, thank you for a sweet week. I'm having so much fun here. Happy weekend!
p.s. I want to stock up on these letterpressed thank you cards by Austin Press. C'est fantastique!
