My dear friend Trisha just chose a location for her wedding: Oz farm, a working farm in Northern California with its very own apple orchard! Doesn't it look as dreamy as its name? I am super excited for this one: celebrating the amazing love of one special couple and helping them decorate a barn and pull together a farm wedding. Since the moment she told me, I've been scouting inspiration that feels like a good fit.
You don't have to use flowers as centerpieces. Chelsea styled this table with baskets of apples that look sweet — and are a more affordable option, too. I love the idea of homemade jam as a party favor.
Photos in the apple orchard seem like a no-brainer. How fun!
I love this apple and horseshoe inspiration board by Snippet & Ink.
What a fantastic idea for favors from 100 Layer Cake — handpressed cider!
And the duo behind Paper + Cup, one of my favorite stationery companies, created a school-themed wedding. It's such a cute idea, since Minhee and Truman met in elementary school. I love their idea for favors — apples on a borrowed school desk. (Perfect inspiration for my friends too, as Trisha is a teacher!)
These photos make me want to throw an apple-themed party this fall. On a side note, I get overwhelmed when I see a dozen kinds of apples at the farmers market — I can never remember which types are best for snacking and which types are best for baking.
