one dozen tomatoes from the farmers market + 1 tbsp olive oil + few pinches of salt and oregano + 5 hours of roasting in the oven at 200 degrees = the simple pleasure known as slow-roasted tomatoes.

current plan: scrap plan of pulling out the food processor. I may dive right into these tomatoes. They've caught me under their spell with their amazing scent. I'm thinking my next sandwich will be phenomenal, without even trying.
