My friend Terah lives in a neighborhood in San Francisco called The Mission. One day during our trip, she took us on a walking tour of this part of the city. The Mission is known for its murals. Walking down alleys and weaving through the blocks, you see a countless number of colorful, enormous murals covering the fronts of restaurants, backs of homes, garage doors, and even entire buildings (like the Women's Building.) The street art is just fantastic!
Where the Wild Things Are captured in a mural.
A mural inspired by Frida.
One of my favorite alleys.
Loved all the colorful murals! Walking the Mission district was like one big street museum of eye candy. So much to see — I kept stopping to check out the murals with their pop of brilliant color.
