Many of you probably already know that this weekend is the big Renegade Craft Fair in Brooklyn. I'm super excited because this will be my first time at Renegade. So I checked out the list of Renegade artists to help guide me to some favorites showing at this year's fair. For each artist, I included a peek at their work below. Most of the artists showing at Renegade are set up with online shops — so you can shop their line from anywhere, too.
One of the things I love about craft fairs is the element of surprise — you really never know what artists will bring from their collection and often sellers have new stuff that they've made. Here's my guide to Renegade artists I want to check out:
miss natalie: wooden apple boxes make a secret spot for something special.
seattle show posters: this print's titled the most complicated thing you own.
king popcorn sells hand-embroidered cards.
diane patmos: love her gorgeous quilts
candy thief hair bands — love!
goose grease makes handpainted dolls (often used as wedding toppers) but maybe I'll see a pair that speaks to me, as they're adorable.
among many shop finds I love from miniature rhino, there's the mini message in a bottle.
cursive design's line is so lovely — these twiggums are a favorite.
excited to see nate duval's graphic posters.
and i'm wondering what rifle design will be showing — big fan of anna's work!
red prairie press dabbles in textiles + fantastic paintings (this one's called milking time)
the raffia rattle by enfant-terrible would make a great baby gift.
I'm hoping enormous champion will be selling their wooden animal silhouettes.
mat daly's prints: amazing!
power and light letterpress (love these tags)
argyle whale makes gocco prints
foxy + winston screenprinted cards
here's hoping something's hiding in here will have their mustaches on a stick.
happy owl glassworks: would love a nightlight.
product superior: of course I have my eye on their moving postcards.
berd and bee handpainted initial mugs
A.S.I.S. (angela spencer's irresistible stuff) sells pretty jewelry including this vintage cotton doily and rose quartz necklace.
brooklyn+sit+spinners sells pretty yarn.
cute market totes and more by black sheep heap.
looking forward to seeing the artwork of hayley carmo in person.
fern animals: so adorable!
love this birdie tic tac toe wood game by chestnut farmer.
Yay for Renegade! There's also the Brooklyn Flea going on for those of you in the area (and one of my favorites, Three Potato Four will be at this Saturday's Flea.) Way too much fun shopping to pack into one weekend!
