Don't you just want to camp out at this table for the day with your friends and a pitcher of lemonade? This gorgeous photograph taken by Polly Wreford was the cover photo for British Country Living, and I think it's the perfect inspiration for how to makeover your deck, terrace, patio, or garden nook so it's stylish and inviting. If you're lacking outdoor space (like me), you can bring the outdoors right into your kitchen with a couple finds that capture that easy country bistro style. Here's your shop guide:
+ pretty paper lanterns and accordion lanterns dress up an outdoor space or even the corner of a bedroom. String lanterns up in clusters — one little lantern will look lonely.
+ a bold tablecloth tossed over any table spells merriment. I love the look of layering tablecloths. (in the photograph above, a floral tablecloth over a graphic red-and-white plaid)
Make your own tablecloth — perhaps with a few yards of fresh floral fabric by Liberty of London.
+ folding metal bistro chairs give your space the feel of a French cafe.
