Ez of Creature Comforts has just opened a new Etsy shop of pretty packaging supplies called Nice Package: think glassine envelopes and white slide boxes. Creative packaging is an easy way to make favors and little gifts feel special. I think these pink glassine-lined bags are especially sweet for gifting cookies and other baked treats. I always feel discouraged by the idea of baking a fleet of cookies around the holidays — a tin of cookies for everyone would mean I'd need to start baking in October! But rather than do nothing, two cookies in a pretty glassine-lined sleeve would be just the right way to present a treat. A little something sweet also makes a perfect birthday gift for when you want to give more than a card but spend less than a full-on present.
