I've been talking about this wedding I saw on Once Wed for days, so I thought I should share it here. I am totally amazed by this simply beautiful wedding that Emily shared on Once Wed. The couple, Nancy and Ethan, managed to pull off a delightful wedding with 175 guests for just $3,000! I can hardly believe that budget — how incredible! One of the most genius ways the couple saved money was hosting an afternoon potluck reception. Catering is such a big piece of wedding costs — or any big party for that matter. We loved the food at our wedding, but I butted heads with my caterer and found the process of dealing with a caterer utterly frustrating. A mix of homemade dishes made with love by friends and family sounds like a fantastic alternative. Do check out the post — the details of the wedding are so sweet from the bride's vintage dress to the 1000 handmade white paper cranes dangling from trees. So inspiring. And the bride, the park setting, and the entire party—just gorgeous!
