My jaw dropped when I read about this letterpress love correspondence book that Studio on Fire designed for a guy preparing to pop the question to his girlfriend. Timeout: there are guys that know what letterpress is before getting engaged and seeing how pretty invitations make their love swoon with paper glee? Impressive, as I'm fairly certain Dan wouldn't have been able to pick letterpress out of a lineup. So the story behind this lovely book: Studio on Fire created a small, sewn, bound book of email correspondence collected between the couple. I think this is sweet with a capital S. Since Dan and I were long-distance for a year (New York + Chicago), I'm especially partial to the idea of creating a memento of notes exchanged while we were apart. Anniversary gift, perhaps?
