In case if you haven't seen the Seuss-theme logo on Google, Dr. Seuss was born on March 2nd. I treasure his books even more now than when I was a kid. There's something quite magical about the way Dr. Seuss tells a story, and those illustrations are still the best. Sadly, my entire collection of children's books were let go during a move. (I know you can't hold onto everything, but it's not so easy to find some of the titles now.) I definitely want to start a collection of Dr. Seuss books whenever we have a family.
If you'd like to head to Whoville or meet a Lorax, you can check out the Amazon Dr. Seuss shop, bid on eBay auctions for vintage Dr. Seuss books, or shop my favorite bookstore in the city, Strand, which also carries a collection of Seuss. I think Oh the Places You'll Go should be the theme of this year, in light of all the flux with lost jobs in this economy. It's a sweet book of hope.
