I had so much fun chatting with Dana of dbO home at the last Gift Show. Dana has a cool back story: She was a record executive in New York and then left the bright lights and big city to move to a country home in Connecticut, where she started designing her own line of handmade, hand-glazed ceramic and porcelain home accessories. (Hello, my fantasy if only I had the artistic talent.) She now enjoys heat in her home studio, where these beauties are made. Do check out her store listing to see the collections in person — there's a lovely texture to her ceramics that these photos don't show off as well. Each piece would make such a gorgeous gift!
a few favorites above: splash ice cream bowls, dogface cereal bowls, letterpress cards (new!), bottle bud vase with a Queen's Anne Lace gold pattern.
