Laurie's studio screams dream home office space with a capital D.

Basically this shelving system is exactly what I need to get organized — but don't have space for in our current abode. I'd love a big bookcase or system of shelves on the wall that's my spot for storing books, magazines, and craft supplies. A few places where I've spotted shelving storage systems that are modular or mighty large: DWR, IKEA, Sundance (love! wish I could afford), or build your own modular system.

I also love the gray walls — something to consider so all of my colorful hoohahs pop against the dark background. Benjamin Moore Montpelier (from the Benjamin Moore Aura line of paints) would be a similar shade of gray. This shot beautifully shows how furniture shouldn't always be jammed against the wall — this bookcase doubles as a standing room divider.

I love how Laurie organizes baskets to be pulled in and out for different projects. I could fill an entire basket with my collection of rubber stamps! Rows of identical baskets make a bookcase look neat.
