I've finally landed on the card that I want to give Dan for Valentine's Day. I debated showing it here, since he'll catch a glimpse for sure, but I just couldn't resist sharing the find for anyone else who's still searching for something special. And the note inside will still be a surprise for him (so it's not a total spoiler.) Diva of Linea Carta tipped me off to some new work in her Etsy shop. This is exactly what I was searching for: a love letter in custom calligraphy (for just $8, hooray!). My handwriting is A for awful. And after years of reading my long handwritten notes, I thought a short-and-sweet sentiment in beautiful handwriting would be a fun change of pace.
I sorely wanted calligraphy just like this for our wedding invitations, but it didn't fit with our budget. Ever since I scouted stationery sites for wedding inspiration, I've had my heart set on giving a little dose of calligraphy. So I'm scooping up this chance. If you're interested in this custom love letter, don't forget to pick up a card for your sentiment to be written on. My pick is the Amore card. Diva will calligraph your note, your love's address and your return address, and she'll seal the envelope with a wax seal and twine. J'adore this idea!
